Evacuation Shelters (as of 8-13-23)

Congregate EMERGENCY SHELTERS (Due to privacy, no media allowed inside)

These should be open until estimated date of 8-21 or 8-22

• South Maui Community Park Gymnasium, KIHEI 

• Hannibal Tavares Community Center PUKALANI

• War Memorial Gym WAILUKU

• King’s Cathedral Maui KAHULUI

• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints KAHULUI

• Grace Bible Church, Kahului

All six emergency shelters now have internet connection.

Shelters Now Closed:

• Maui Preparatory Academy (Now closed)
• Maui High School 
  • Update: The American Red Cross emergency evacuation shelter at Maui High School in Kahului is being moved Sunday 8/13/23 to the South Maui Gymnasium in Kihei.
