- Hale Kaukau provides food at St. Theresa Church M-F-5-6pm and Sat Sun 430-630pm (MAP) and meal deliveries in Kihei
- FNS approved a Hot Foods Waiver for SNAP participants thru 9/14/23.
- USDA has approved the State’s request to waive the standard, 10-day timely reporting requirement for food loss under SNAP

D-SNAP Benefits Now Available for Fire Survivors
- Maui wildfire survivors can apply for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, or D-SNAP, benefits starting Monday, Sept. 18. D-SNAP benefits can be used to buy food at grocery stores and other authorized retailers that accept electronic benefit transfer, or EBT. The application period closes Saturday, Sept. 23.
- D-SNAP benefits are available to people whose primary residences or place of employment are in Lāhainā or Kula (ZIP codes 96790, 96791 and 96767).

COUNTY-FACILITATED WEST MAUI DISTRIBUTION SITES
Lahaina Gateway Center, open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, will close Sunday, 8/20, for a staff break. Napili Plaza is open around the clock for food, water and other needs. Details on schedule for next week will be announced Sunday By the COUNTY.
