Hawai‘i Driver’s License: Visit your Maui County DMV to apply for a duplicate or replacement license.
The County of Maui Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing in Kahului will be open Saturday 8/26 to assist customers who have found it difficult to visit DMVL offices during normal weekday hours. Appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and are reserved for individuals completing a single transaction for themselves. Appointments are available through the DMVL website at: https://mauicounty.gov/1328/Motor-Vehicle-Licensing.
Walk-ins will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for those affected by the Maui wild fires. For more information, contact the DMVL Call Center at (808) 270-7363. The Maui County Service Center is at 110 Alaihi St. in Kahului.
DMVL SATELLITE OFFICE IN LAHAINA
The County of Maui Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing’s Lahaina Satellite Office will reopen Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lahaina Gateway Center, 325 Keawe St., to assist West Maui residents whose Hawaiʻi driver’s licenses or Hawaiʻi State Identification cards have been lost or destroyed by wildfires. The daily satellite office opened 8/16. Also, DMVL locations around Maui will assist survivors. For more information, call (808) 270-7363.
